Onur is the managing partner and artistic director of LocksBridge Artist Management since 2019. He has led a multifaceted career as entrepreneur, conductor, artist manager, designer, web developer and economist. Prior to his career with LocksBridge Artist Management, he founded the Bosphorus Philharmonic Orchestra and became the orchestra’s music director starting in the 2016/17 season.

Onur holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Bosphorus University of Istanbul focusing especially on neuromarketing, public finance, tax systems, organizational behavior and data-driven decision making during his studies. He was one of the highest scoring students in the nation-wide university entrance exam in Turkey, being ranked 854th among 2 million students.

As a conductor, he is always receptive to new, unconventional projects, for example the Turkish premiere of Ottorino Respighi’s Concerto in modo misolidio with the Bosphorus Philharmonic which took place in Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar ICEC, the largest concert hall in Turkey.

He is in demand internationally as a tour manager as well as an artist manager, and his accomplishments in the field of classical music both as a conductor and business-person have been cited in numerous reviews and articles such as him being named “The youngest conductor in Turkey” in Hürriyet Newspaper. He was also chosen as one of the most successful young people as an entrepreneur in Turkey by Istanbul Volunteers Platform.

He is the recipient of honors that include the two awards in consecutive years from Başarım Sensin Society, an NGO supporting university students and investing in education as well as the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Faculty Executive Secretary Special Award from Bosphorus University.

In addition, he enjoys composing, playing piano, web development, graphic design, video editing, and he delights in aesthetics, whether in painting, architecture, photography, language or music. He was also an active violinist in various chamber music groups within the university.

As LocksBridge’s managing partner and artistic director, Onur is responsible for the artistic oversight and coordination of the LocksBridge’s artists roster and development of innovative methods of processing the careers of classical musicians, as well as the company’s marketing, communications and public relations.
