Duygu is the managing partner & project director of LocksBridge Artist Management representing a select group of artists and managing projects, including some of the most prominent classical musicians of Turkey as well as world-wide famous artists and orchestras.

Duygu’s experience spans a wide spectrum of the classical music industry. She is qualified in many areas both academically and practically such as 19th century music, music and the visual arts, orientalism in music, music theory and appreciation, and documentaries.

Duygu holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Boğaziçi University (Bosphorus University) of Istanbul focusing especially on financial accounting, business ethics, finance for creative industries, strategic marketing management, as well as banking and finance during her studies. She was one of the highest scoring students in the nation-wide university entrance exam in Turkey, being ranked 250th among 2 million students.

During her academic studies at Boğaziçi University (Bosphorus University), she co-founded the Bosphorus Philharmonic Orchestra in 2016. She has been working as orchestra manager since 2016 and performing duties such as fund-raising, sponsorships, event management, marketing strategies and so forth. Bosphorus Philharmonic Orchestra is an important path for Duygu’s professional line since she has gained the ability to create something even out of nothing.

Duygu has professional curiosity to filming and directing; she also manages various documentary projects on western classical music as producer, director as well as script-writer.

She has a many-sided career as entrepreneur, artist manager and economist. She believes in multi-disciplinary work that is one of the most significant sources revealing the creativity and productivity of human beings. Moreover, she enjoys writing poems and short stories, filming, photography and playing the violin.

Duygu takes on project management in the field of classical and contemporary music, and she continues to provide consulting services to presenters and artists worldwide. She manages a portfolio of artists and orchestra tours, including concert tours with Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra, English Chamber Orchestra and Accademia Bizantina. She is also the founding and managing partner of the Istanbul International Chamber Music Festival and Istanbul International Music Academy.
